Cooling System
Donít wait for your cooling system to let you down.   Our cooling system flush service includes:

Inspect the radiator cap. Replace the cap if the rubber gasket is broken, dried    out or missing.
Inspect radiator and hoses for leaks, cracks. Hoses that are soft, or mushy should be replaced.

Heater hoses run from the engine, through the firewall, to the heater core under the dash. Inspect and replace swollen or cracked hoses. (Most hose failure / leaks seem to occur sometime after 60,000 miles of service.)
Tighten all clamps.
Measure engine temperature. The thermostat controls the engine temperature; preventing engine
over-heating. The engine runs best when the temperature is maintained near the 200 degree mark.
To hot and the engine is damaged, to cold and the engine will not run properly and will use excess fuel.
Drain, flush and refill the cooling system with factory recommended coolant.

Why is it important?

The engine cooling system in your vehicle circulates antifreeze through the engine and radiator. The antifreeze
is formulated to prevent corrosion inside the cooling system and helps to maintain optimal engine operating
temperature regardless of outside conditions. Replacing the antifreeze at regular intervals can help prevent
overheating, freezing and premature cooling-system corrosion.
